Oldest Mother AND Youngest Mother

Oldest mother:
Maria del Carmen Bousada de Lara gave birth to twin sons at Sant Pau Hospital in Barcelona, Spain on December 29, 2006, at the age of 67, breakimg the previous record, of Adriana Iliescu, who gave birth to Eliza-Maria at age 66 on January 16, 2005, breaking the world record for the previous oldest mom, Satyabhama Mahapatra, an Indian woman who gave birth at age 65 on April 9, 2003...previously breaking the world record of the oldest mom, Arceli Keh, age 63 and 9 months on November 7, 1996, breaking the previous record set by Rosanna Della Corte of Canino, Italy, giving birth to a son on July 18, 1994, at 62.
Youngest mother:
The youngest mother whose history is authenticated is Lina Medina, who delivered a 6-pound boy by cesarean section in Lima, Peru in 1939, at an age of 5 years and 7 months. The child was raised as her brother and only discovered that Lina was his mother when he was 10.
Girls such as this suffer from a hormonal imbalance, or precocious puberty, which is characterized by premature secondary sex characteristic development. In a small percentage ovarian and uterine development appropriate for fertility also occurs, making pregnancy possible. Lina, for instance, began menstruating at age 3.
Youngest mother - oldest mother.

Oh, and since this image is significant to medical literature, it is not considered to child pornography, so what that means is, ScottK, is that you can't go around screwing people over for personal gain! Anyways, back on topic. Lina Medina potentially holds the world record for the youngest age to lose her virginity, at the age of 4. When her family took her to the doctor because her belly started getting big, that's when she and her family found out she was pregnant.
Lina Medina on October 18, 1967, at 33.
Youngest father:
Sean Stewart, of Sharnbrook, England, became the father of a healthy 6 pound baby boy on January 20, 1998, at age 12. He was given the day off from school to be at the bedside of his teenage girlfriend and next-door neighbor Emma Webster when she gave birth. Described by Emma's parents as "mature-looking", the precocious youth first told them he was 14, but later confessed his real age when news of the pregnancy broke. Shocked at first, Sean vowed to stand by both his girlfriend and his child, saying, "I want to be there for the baby and to be part of it all." As for what the future holds for the young couple, Emma said she planned to continue her education and raise the child herself with the support of her parents.
Oldest father:
This one may be unknown, but Robert Young knew of a circumstance of a man who fathered at age 93.
Youngest grandmother:
The youngest grandmother whose history is authenticated is Mum-Zi, a member of Chief Akkiri's harem on the island of Calabar, Nigeria, became a mother at 8 years and 4 months. Her daughter also delivered a child at age 8, making Mum-Zi a grandmother at age 17.
Youngest grandfather:
The youngest grandfather whose history is authenticated is Fale Wright, following the birth of a baby girl to his son, Stephen, and his girlfriend, both 14 years old, Dale Wright of Warwickshire, Britain, became the youngest known grandfather at age 29. Mr. Wright, who was also 14 when Stephen was born, was astonished when his son told him his girlfriend was expecting, but did all he could to be supportive. "I wish it hadn't happened," he told the press, "but I couldn't shout at Stephen too much because I'd done the same at his age." Asked what he thought about his father becoming a grandpa, Stephen remarked, "I think dad was more concerned about being a granddad than me having the baby. I've got to be careful about calling him granddad now he doesn't like it too much."
Youngest great-great-great grandmother:
On March 8, 1987, Harriet Holmes of Newfoundland, Canada (born January 17, 1899) became the youngest living great-great-great grandmother at 88 years 50 days. Her family averaged 17.6 years per generation.

On January 21, 1989, Augusta Bunge of Wisconsin, U.S. (born October 13, 1879) became the youngest great-great-great-great grandmother at 109.
Duh: Oldest great-great-great-great grandmother:
Mrs. Sarah Knauss at 119! But she is famous for being the oldest person in the world, not the oldest great-great-great-great grandmother.
Her photo with her great-great-great-great-grandon can be found in OldesWoman.html.

India’s first operational base for nuclear submarines, being developed secretly, for which the government has sanctioned close to Rs 160 crore in the new budget is underway, sources told Deccan Herald.

An underwater hiding place for her. While more than Rs 58 crore has been allocated for civil works related to the base, the rest will be spent on developing under-water communication systems for the nuclear subs so that the boomers can communicate with each other and also the base station. Being developed under the code name Project Varsha, the nuclear submarine base will be located at an undisclosed location off the eastern coast. The work began almost two years ago and Navy spent about Rs 18 crore on the project in the last two years. The first two occupants of the base will be the indigenous “INS Arihant” and the Russian nuclear submarine Nerpa, which India will hire from Russia. Arihant will be inducted by 2012 implying that the Nerpa may arrive soon as the naval officers and sailors need on-board training in the nuclear submarine before taking up the responsibility of operating the Arihant. Once the two nuclear-powered submarines are in operation, the new base will be a strategic naval asset. The plan is to make the underwater base as good as the Chinese N-sub base on Hainan island. Communication link being crucial for nuclear subs that can remain underwater for months, the government has sanctioned Rs 100 crore in the budget to develop the very-long frequency communication system for the boomers and the base. The same project received only Rs 15 crore last year. The “INS Arihant” was launched in July 2009. Initially, it was to undergo sea trial for two years before induction. Now, the deadline has been pushed to 2012 though the Navy did not elaborate on the reasons for delay. Two indigenous nuclear subs that are believed to be under construction are likely to be ready by 2020. New Delhi is also understood to have signed a secret $650 million inter-governmental agreement with Moscow for leasing the second Akula class submarine to the navy for three years. However, there is delay in the leasing process too, the reason for which may be the absence of a suitable parking place for the boomers. The berthing facility created for the INS Chakra—the Akula class nuclear submarine which India hired from Russia in 1989 for years—has long been taken up for other purposes.
