Ethiopia: Tough Times Ahead Ethiopia: Tough Times Ahead

Severe drought is taking its toll in the southeastern region of Ethiopia. Livestock are dying, crops are failing, and families must walk up to six hours to find water – and then walk six hours back.

Over the next few months, more than one million people will need food assistance. We’re already reaching out to the most vulnerable – the elderly and the very young – with lifesaving food, but we aim to do more.

Stay tuned over the coming weeks as we announce an exciting new opportunity for you to help, and for your impact to go twice as far! In the meantime, check out our country page for the latest from Ethiopia.
